Minor Units and Tolerances

Reconify stores all amounts as minor units.

Major-unit input

amount_col: "Amount"
decimal: "."
thousands: ","
multiplier: 100

1,234.56 becomes 123456.

Minor-unit input

amount_col: "amount_minor"
multiplier: 1

123456 remains 123456.

Tolerance

amount_tolerance_minor: 5

This permits a five-minor-unit difference.

Keep tolerance at 0 unless you know the source systems introduce rounding differences. A tolerance that is too wide can hide real reconciliation problems.
